We are a Southern Baptist church located in Sheridan, AR

"Our church family exists to love God and others by making disciples who abide, pray, worship, grow, and serve."

Our church family is first and foremost committed to loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:29-30). Secondly, we are committed to loving others as ourselves (Mark 12:31). We seek to demonstrate our love for others by following the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus. He commanded us to make disciples of all nations by sharing the Gospel, baptizing, and teaching them to obey His Word (Matthew 28:18-20). Being disciples of the Lord Jesus means we:

Abide-A person who abides is in an ongoing, ever-growing, intimate relationship with Jesus. As a result, he or she finds their identity and significance in Jesus.

Pray-Communicate with God as His Word teaches.

Worship-Honoring God in all that we think, say, and do.

Grow-We grow in obedience, grace, and knowledge according to God’s Word.

Serve-We serve the Lord, our church family, and others.

Come grow with us each Sunday morning!

Sunday Morning Worship

Join us on Sunday mornings with your lawn chair for "Drive-In Worship" at 9:30 a.m. on the south parking lot at least through the month of June. We will continue to record our services to post on social media for those who feel more comfortable staying in. Sunday School groups will meet at 10:45 a.m. either at the church or via Zoom. Contact your group's leaders for more details and your room assignment. For those who will be gathering on our church campus, we encourage you to abide by our government’s recommendations of social distancing, hand washing, and face masks. (Feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer.) You can now give at one of our three giving boxes located at our entrances. As always, if you think you might be sick or have any symptoms, please stay home.

Join a D-Group

Disciple-Making Groups meet now on and off our church campus. It is a great time to join a group. Individual groups are doing what they are comfortable with at this time while continuing to practice social guidelines and safe practices.  If you are interested in committing to a D-Group contact Pastor Michael Daugherty at fbcsheridanpastor@gmail.com.

The Mid-Week Study

Join us each Wednesday evening on our YouTube Channel at 6:30 p.m  for our Mid-Week Study. It will sometimes consist of a Bible study related to our daily Bible reading plan or will be an occasional discussion entitled "Things That Make You Go Hmmmm..."

Things That Make You Go, Hmmm...

This is the title of a new occasional Wednesday evening series geared towards examining hot topics and other subjects in our world you may be wondering about. We are putting our theology and our Biblical beliefs into practice, in order to live out a Biblical worldview. If you have topics you would like to hear what the Bible has to say, send your suggestions to fbcsheridan@windstream.net.

Searching for Preschool Director

We are now taking applications for the FBC Preschool Director Position.  Starting date of the position will be August 1, 2020. Call the church office with questions or inquiries. Email résumé to  http://fbcsheridan@windstream.net

Grant County Summer Feeding Program

Volunteers are needed for the Grant County Summer Feeding Program the week of June 8th, 10th, &  12th. We need about 27 people (9 cars) to cover 9 routes. The longest route should take about 2 hours. Call the church office, if you can help.
