Preschool Ministry
Welcome to the Preschool Ministry of First Baptist Church. Our ministry to preschoolers begins laying the foundation for understanding of the purposes of the church: Worship, Ministry, Evangelism, Fellowship and Discipleship. We want to take advantage of the optimal learning time in each child's life. This goal is accomplished through all areas of our Preschool Ministry.
To help minister to preschoolers and their families, First Baptist Church offers Mother's Day Out, and MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers).
Preschoolers are able to learn about God's love through several ministries:
- Sunday School-each week at 9:30 a.m.
- Wee Kids' Praise-Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. (September through May)
- Wee Wonderful Wednesdays-From 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. (June through August)
- AWANA-Sundays from 5:30-7:00 p.m. (September through May)
- MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
- Mother's Day Out

Children's Church
Children's Church is offered from September through May for children ages 4 through Kindergarten. Children are dismissed during the "First Family Welcome" portion of the Morning Worship service. Children proceed to the Kids' PARK where they participate in age appropriate Bible stories, music, crafts, and games. For more information, please contact Elizabeth Hale.
The Nursery is available for all worship services for children birth through age three in the preschool area.
